So, during the holiday season, we go from day looks to evening looks a lot for parties.
With this look, you're going to have to have enough hair that you could put it into a ponytail. Start teasing about an inch and a half down to the root to create the nest in the hair. You could do this on curly or straight hair, actually. The idea is just to make sure that you're getting enough volume into your hair.
Now, I'm just going back through and pulling back out a little of my height. You can also use the back of the tail comb; pieces in the front to create a texture again. As long as you spray everything in, it should hold you for the night.
What I'm using is a shadow shield, and the reason why I'm using this is so you don't get any little tiny bits down below the eye. These are wonderful because you can stick it right underneath the eye and pull it off when you're done.
So, for this look, what I'm doing is, again, I'm starting at the base of the lash line with plum. One thing I love about using a skinnier pencils is it's a little bit easier to perfect the line. I'm using NARS. We're going to get that deep color on the eye first.
Start smudging the plum more on the outer corner; using a smudge brush is really nice and then just a little bit smaller and rounding. And just start smudging. Don't be afraid
Cleaner on the inside of the eye and smudging outward. You go to a streak brush. Look straight down. We're going to wash that color.
You kind of want to connect those two lines, too, from the upper lid into the lower.
So, taking a cool shimmer, I'm going to place this on the inner corner of the eye. I'll just twirl that brush and then blend it inward.
I love to give just a little bit of highlight underneath the eye. And then, we're just going to finish hit off with just tipping the eyelashes again.
