Interviewer: I'd like to know what Melvita's Point of Difference is versus all the other natural and organic brands on the marketplace today.

Interviewee: Well, the Point of Difference actually is very significant. Melvita is the number one organic certified beauty brand in France. And that says a lot because we are actually certified for the entire line by ECOCERT.

ECOCERT has very stringent qualifications for being eco certified, and those qualifications are that a minimum of 95% of the ingredients need to be natural, a minimum of 95% of the plant-based ingredients must be organic, and a minimum of 10% of the entire formula must be organic.

Now 10% doesn't sound like a whole lot, but that's actually including water which is inherently inorganic. So 10% of the formula is actually quite significant.

And an important point is that Melvita actually over achieves. We don't just the basic minimum. We actually put out every product one the back of the product and on the side on English exactly how much of the formula, the percentage, that comes from natural ingredients and the percentage of the entire formula that is organic.

This one, for example, 100% of the formula is natural and 99.5% of the formula is organic. So that's really impressive.

Another point of difference is Melvita has been around since 1983 making organic products, because that was really at the heart of their own philosophy. They're not making organic products out of following a trend or because it's required, but really out of their philosophy of doing what's right for the consumer as well as doing what's right for the environment.

So because of that, at this point today, they have 27 years experience in organic beauty formulation, which I don't think anyone else can really point to that in a major way who's on the market.

That means that the formulas are very sophisticated because we've learned how to make organic formulas that don't require any sacrifice from the consumer in terms of performance, fragrance, pleasure of use, price, or packaging.

There's no reason to use conventional beauty products once you've used Melvita...
