For her Fall 2009 collection, Lela Rose was inspired by the colors of the rainforest. The palette was jeweled and represented rich jungle tones and textures, but the shapes were classic, feminine, and functional.
Models' skin was first hydrated with Arcona Skincare. Tina Turnbow then created a look for the eyes with Stila Cosmetics that was reminiscent of beetles and succulent plants - showing a range of rich greens and gold that moved from light to dark with metallic shimmer and shine.
To complete the look, Ted Gibson backcombed hair at the top to give height and texture to a perfectly-imperfect, tousled ponytail.
