<p>So I live in Seattle where there isn't a lot of sun, and I'm going to be planning a trip to Hawaii soon.  And I would like your advise on what product to use, so that I don't get overexposed.  </p> <p>Ok great.  Well Phytomer has a wonderful duo of serums that's called Sun Serenity, and these are serums that you are supposed to use before vacation and then after vacation.  The first serum is called the Seven Day Pre-exposure Serum, and the way you use it is apply it everyday morning and night, under your day and night cream.  What it does, is it helps to fortify your skin with an enzyme extracted from a blue micro algae and what this enzyme does is it helps once you're in the sun to protect your DNA.  So any damage that takes place because of radical formation which is one of the main dangers of the sun, it will actually go in and repair and protect the DNA so you don't have any problems long term from that intense sun exposure.  </p> <p>The other part of that duo is called our Seven Day Post Exposure Serum, and it's used the same way, when you get back from Hawaii you use it morning and night, under your day and night cream for seven days and that has another ingredient from a different algae.  What this ingredient does is it helps if you did get too much sun, maybe you did get a little bit of damage from all that intense exposure that happens in a fabulous place like Hawaii, it will help your cells to actually break down any damaged proteins that there are and then the cells can  much easier make repair so it's a really great combination that will get your skin ready but then and will also help with kind of cleaning up any damage if some damage does inadvertently take place.  So that's what I would really recommend to use starting about a week before you go out of town.</p> <p>Great!
