<p>*Well you know, we do get a lot of questions on our customer care line. Our beauty advisers tell us that people are calling in asking about help for their troubled skin. So, tell me, what specific product would you recommend from the Alison Raffaele for people who have troubled skin &amp; are trying to heal their troubled skin and at the same time cover this blemishes that none of us would really want to show.</p> <p>The first thing I would recommend is the Face forward acne response. This is a primer that is infused with peptides that actually kill the acne bacteria within the skin. But the really nice thing about it is that the peptides are not drying to the skin like most other acne products. You know when you over-dry your skin with acne products &amp; then you try to cover it &amp; everything sort of looks peely because the make up doesn't sit well on your skin. So this product totally, it circumvents &nbsp;that &nbsp;problem because you're killing the acne bacteria &amp; healing the acne blemishes without over-drying the skin. So that goes on before any make up. You use it everyday. It also has SPF 15 which is really important because if your skin is broken out, sometimes it can become totally sensitive &amp; you can get dark marks from where you broke out. This helps prevent that as well. So it's primer. Put that on first everyday &amp; then over that you have a choice. If you want to wear a foundation, our Reality face foundation is oil-free. It comes in 7 skin tones so it matches all colors. But I know a lot of women with acne, with very oily skin, or they are just afraid that things will gonna cram their course that they don't like to wear foundation. So foundation is not an absolute must but it definitely can help the over-all look to sort of come together when you go on concealing blemishes.</p> <p>Now for concealing blemishes, I really think there's nothing better than true concealer. True concealer is great. You can use it both on your eyes and on blemishes. Like all of my products are oil-free. It is oil-free. The important thing is to get the color right to match your skin. The most popular color is skin tone number 3 which is what I am. Which is sort of a light medium shade. 2 is a fair shade. 1 is paler than pale. Then you go into skin tone 4 which is the medium skin tone. 5, 6 &amp; 7 get more golden &amp; then into your African/American skin tones. But the really important thing is just to dab the blemish or dab the concealer right on the blemish &amp; then just tap it with your finger until it blends into the skin. If your blemish is really red you can go one shade darker with your concealer to help cut the redness. But otherwise you want a pretty much day with your same skin tone for your concealer.</p>
