<p>Interviewer: What is your must-have product for winter, and should I change up my routine going into the winter season?</p> <p>Interviewee: For sure. With the skyn ICELAND line, I would recommended the Pure Cloud Cream. We call this product the arctic-tested, arctic-approved formula because when I was developing this formula and really formulating it for dry, sensitive skin, we collaborated with a woman by the name of Gabby Finn who lived in the UK, who decided to do a 340-mile trek to the arctic.&nbsp;</p> <p>She took a sample of the cream when we were developing and she road tested it in the arctic. What she found is that when she got to base camp, her skin was already really ravaged by the elements, and when she used the Pure Cloud Cream, it really helped to heal, rejuvenate, and moisturize her skin.</p> <p>So we always say if it can work in the arctic, it can work just about anyplace else. With a 5% sodium hyaluronic, it is incredibly moisturizing.</p> <p>And we have a really fun aspect of this product which is that it has a peptide in it that releases endorphins on the skin. So basically, while you're applying it, it actually helps to make the skin feel good, feel happy which means it reduces irritation, sensitivity and we know that dry skin does tend to be cracked, or dry, or irritated or irritable.</p> <p>In terms of winter skin care routines, I would say that generally -- and obviously not everyplace is cold in the winter, but for sure in New York when it's super cold outside and all of the elements are cracking your skin, and then you come inside and you're in a heated environment which really dries your skin and zaps it of moisture, you generally are looking for something that's a little bit heavier, a little more moisturizing.</p> <p>The great thing about this product is that even though it delivers incredible moisturization to the skin, it's not heavy or greasy and it absorbs really, really nicely. It's really fluffy as the name implies.</p> <p>Even places that tend to be warm can also be dry.
