<p>Interviewer: &nbsp;I wanted to talk to you about the new Extra Strength Alpha Beta Peel. Is that for a particular skin type? Should you be incorporating that in and alternating between the original Alpha Beta Peel and the Extra Strength? When should you use it and how should you use it?</p> <p>Dr. Dennis Gross: &nbsp;Okay. Here's the story. The story is that the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel now comes in an extra strength version. It has high concentrations of alpha beta hydroxy acids. It has six alpha and beta hydroxy acids. The extra strength product now has that boosted.</p> <p>In addition, we have added new active ingredients that have an anti-aging effect on the skin, and also give the complexion better clarity. Those are willow bark extract, and mandelic acid.</p> <p>Both the extra strength product and the original Alpha Beta Face Peel are safe for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin.</p> <p>While all of these products are safe for all skin types, I have certain general guidelines where I recommend that the original product be used for anyone who is trying a peel for the first time.</p> <p>I also recommend it for someone who has early to moderate signs of aging, and anyone who's really interested in preventative care.</p> <p>The extra strength product is for someone who is looking for a corrective measure, who already has a moderate to severe sun damage and aging issue, and for someone who has been totally dissatisified and is unhappy with the results they've been getting from other anti-aging products they've been using.</p> <p>You can't go wrong with either, but those are some rough guidelines.</p>
